The Bleeding Rose

I know that on this day
That I'm not okay
I thought about you
And the pain just grew

Last year, oh I loved it
And oh how I loved you
The end of last year, and the start of a new
God I hate myself, I wish I could pull trough

I hope your happy
I hope you're in love
I hope you hate me
I hope you move on

But I'm stuck here
All alone and cold
Hating myself, so much fun
Loving you, that pain goes on

Last year I held you
In my arms
Nothing could be better
god my heart was warm

But this year
I'm sitting on the stairs
holding a single rose
And that rose is bleeding

That rose, the rose you took
you promised to keep it

Some crave it
Some love it
Some hate it
Some need it

Others abuse it
Others use it
Others are obsessive to a point
Some aren't

It's a word that can mean so much
It's a word that can mean so little
It's a word some don't understand
It's a word that some simply dismiss

...Love...

It's just a four letter word
But some people fear it so much
It's nothing to be scared of
But others aren't sure

It's simply

...Love...

Beautiful YouYou are beautiful.
You are special.
You are talented.
You are smart.
You are wonderful.
You are amazing.
Those are some of the things that come to mind,
When someone says "Beautiful."

You make mistakes.
You break promises.
You get angry.
You break hearts.
You live and learn.
You cry when you're upset.
You are imperfect,
And that's what makes you beautiful.

paint with love.close your eyes, darling, cross
your heart with my lips and listen
to me. play your favorite hymn
on the tapered flutes of my bones
until i'm an instrument fitted

to your devoted artist's hands.
draw maps of the constellations
on the raised edge of my scars,
translate directions to faded love,
before putting an 'x' on my left breast,

sealing the treasure with a prayer.
mold my hips like wet clay, sculpt
my pulse so i'm breathless with tension,
serene with knowing i'll wake again
tomorrow with cello-curves pulled

into the tide of your ocean-chest. sing
faith into my hungry arms, chisel hope
into my cynical skeleton, paint

Forget MeThis is it, our time is up and now, after years, I am done
Despite my endeavours the hands of time I couldn't outrun
I will forever be indebted for your never ending support
A life on my own is what I have now chosen to resort

It is not depression that makes me want to be on my own
I simply think that you all have had enough of me moan
The many mistakes of my past I do not intend to ever repeat
I choose to be on my own so I can finally stand on my own feet

I have to say I fear that clarity of the situation is something I lack
So I'm going to make it simple for everyone, I am not coming back
The burden that I am is gone from your li

Love Isn't Chasing Rainbowswe wouldn't be dreamers, big schemers,
with go-nowhere jobs, nine-to-five.
no saving face, morning after regrets,

with men who had seen it all
before. salt plains, burma forests,
atoll islands and elephants at the zoo.

a car park wedding and a shotgun
house. make up chasers are
for the suburban dream –
who wants kids anyway?

I'd finish my degree, want
to work far, far away and
you'd agree to follow me
to the edge of the world,

but no further because
heights still won't be your
thing. in lust for all days;
we would have the world.

LoveHave you ever loved someone dearly?
Of course you have.
Watched their backs as they walked away,
Kept silent because you weren't sure what to say,
Only had a dollar but wanted to give them the world,
Ignored your friends so you can say hi to them,
It took all you're courage to even talk to them.

Felt down when you see them talking to someone else,
Afraid they would fall for them,
Spent hours thinking about them,
Knew they weren't perfect, but they had no flaws.
Thinking about what they said to you that day.
Could it be a sign? Or shall their feeling remain undefined.

Of course you have,

Ideas
Are what I
Seem to be missing.

Direction
Is what they tell me
I need to have.

Confusion
Is my buzzword
At the start of every day.

Fear,
That's what I live in,
In the pit of my stomach.

Stones,
Those replace my
Formerly red, beating heart.

Empty,
That's the only thing
I can pull from my mind.

Discipline,
That's what they try to teach me,
What I never seem to learn.

The End,
Is how I signed the letter
I wrote to them yesterday.

The Wolven PrideThe Wolven Pride:

We are hunted down as monsters;
By legends demonised.
We are feared as devilish creatures
In your pitiful human eyes...

But let me try and teach you
Of why we do not fear.
Because we actually enjoy it
When the hunters seek us here.

In the forest we are champions
In the night we rule the lands.
The hunter becomes the hunted
And dies by our hands.

Fangs will pierce his fragile throat
His flesh is torn to shreds.
It is the fear and scent of death
That the hunter truly dreads.

But we alone shall know no fear
For by the moon we shall be blessed.
Draped in Luna's loving embrace;
We bet our life with every breat

UnforgettableUnforgettable

When clouds begin to swallow up the storm
And dreams are slowly fading away
Chasing butterflies doesn't soothe my sorrow
Then I know it's the end of another day

Show me myself from the old days
Erase my memories
Take me to our old place

Time has passed in a wink of an eye
There is no laughter, no holding hands
I remember us running in April and sunny May
Fearless glee sealed with tears

Help me regain my stolen pieces
Show me exactly when I have fallen
Let's once again be fearless

Crawling back to youAfter so much time, I realise I have to swallow my pride
I know I have to do this, but the outcome is for you to decide
I don't know what I was thinking when I walked away
Knowing you don't want me now kills me every day

I'm on my knees begging, I know I can't live without you any longer
I thought that I could walk away, I thought that I was stronger
The road we have taken to where we are now I know hasn't been ideal
But time has healed my scars, now I want to show you how I feel

Now I know all there is, about myself, that there is to be learned
I just hope that the bridges between us aren't completely burned

To love is to be understanding

Always listening and never demanding

For once love grabs a hold of you

It molds your heart into shapes you never thought you knew

Love proceeds with no boundaries nor expectations

Except for the profound aspect of motivation

Writing about my love helps pass me through the night

Until I see the doves embark on their morning flight

As the birds soar higher I stare into the rising sun

And think about all the beautiful things love has done

Being told I am loved helps pass me through the day

But telling others that I love them is hard for me to say

Welcome HomeI once was a cheerful young pup. Eager to learn, eager to please. I swore I'd do anything to protect my family. Even at the cost of my own life.

They promised me they'd take care of me. That they'd feed and pet me everyday. They said they would never leave me; never abandon me.

Such lies.

Like everything that lives, I grew up. I was no longer a pup, but my loyalty remained unfaltering as it did before. But their words faded into nothing. Their promises were forgotten.

There were nights I slept hungry. I was left alone outside often and I no longer went out for walks. Even a simple pat on the head, I was deprived of.
